Yoga Lunch
Yoga Lunch is a mixed-level Vinyasa yoga class with special modifications given to address climber- and athlete-specific stretches and movements (forearms, shoulders, core, etc). Leg Day
Strengthen every major muscle group in your lower body with this focused, high-energy training session. Each class rotates through a mix of squats, lunges, hip-hinge moves, and glute work using the Steel Shop’s functional equipment. After a quick mobility warm-up, you’ll move through targeted strength blocks and finish with a short power burst. Fitness isn't one-size fit all. Modifications offered for all body types.

Bouldering Skills
LEVEL: BEGINNER
After completing our Bouldering Skills class, you will have the skills needed to begin a regular bouldering routine. You will learn how to properly fall onto a padded floor, warm up for and structure a proper bouldering session, and identify and practice skills. You will also learn about bouldering terminology and proper etiquette. We will help you overcome the social barriers to climbing and understand how climbers work together while bouldering.
Bouldering relies on padded flooring rather than ropes and harnesses for protection. Climbers generally only climb between 10 and 15 feet high. For that reason, no additional equipment other than the padded floor is needed. This class is ideal for climbers who are new to the sport and want to establish a dependable foundation of skills.

After you have become proficient at top rope belaying, this class will advance your skills. Lead climbing allows you to climb on all of our walls and gives you a more realistic climbing experience. Our knowledgeable instructors will help you untie from the top rope and tie into the sharp end in a controlled environment.
You will learn how to lead climb and lead belay. You will also learn how to utilize scenario-based belay techniques to provide the climber with a soft catch in the event of a fall.

Intro to Climbing (Youth)
LEVEL: BEGINNER
This class is perfect for youth climbers (under 14) who want a structured introduction to climbing in the gym. After completing the class, your climber will know how to operate the gym’s auto-belay stations, climb on the bouldering wall and get a general introduction to rope climbing. Most importantly, your climber will learn the fundamental climbing techniques needed to be successful at the gym.

Do you offer discounted gym memberships?
You are eligible for a discounted gym membership if you are part of one or more of the following groups:
Student: 25 years and younger with a valid student ID
Youth: 17 years and younger
Military: with valid military ID
Senior: 65 years and older
Please present your ID on your next visit to finish setting up your membership. If you have enrolled in a discounted gym membership, we ask that you provide proof of your eligibility at that time.

How much is the enrollment fee?
Our one-time account setup fee is $49.
Do my punches go away if I purchase a gym membership?
Your punches will not go away if you purchase a gym membership. If unused punches are on your account, you can share them with another climber. You’ll need to be present to authorize another climber to use a punch.
How do I freeze and thaw my gym membership?
You can freeze your gym membership indefinitely for $10/month.
A pro-rated price will be charged for the days remaining on your monthly pass starting from the date you choose to thaw your membership. No additional fees will be applied for thawing your membership.
Members may freeze and thaw their membership a maximum of 3 times per year. Members must sign a freeze/thaw form either in-person or online.
All freezes begin on the 1st of the month. If you wish to freeze your membership, you must notify us a minimum of 7 days BEFORE the 1st of the month.
PLEASE NOTE:
• Your membership freeze request will only be approved and processed if your membership account balance is paid in full. Any past due membership account balance will prevent your freeze request from being processed and normal monthly membership billing will continue until the past due balance is paid in full.
• If you are unsure about your current membership account balance please email us at memberships@climbsoill.com to verify your account balance prior to submitting a freeze request.
• Membership freeze requests must be submitted a minimum of 7-days in advance of the date you would like the freeze to take effect. Freeze requests submitted less than 7-days in advance of the requested freeze date will be processed the following month. Once approved, your membership will be billed a monthly freeze fee ($10 per month, plus tax) on the first day of each month for as long as your membership remains frozen.
• To unfreeze your membership, please speak with a Welcome Desk Team Member at either gym. You will be billed prorated membership dues on the day you unfreeze your membership, and will be able to resume climbing that same day.
How do I cancel my gym membership?
You can cancel your gym membership anytime without fees or penalties. Members must sign a cancellation form either in-person or online. All cancellations begin on the 1st of the month. If you wish to cancel your membership, you must notify us a minimum of 7 days BEFORE the 1st of the month.
PLEASE NOTE:
• Your membership cancellation request will only be approved and processed if your membership account balance is paid in full. Any past due membership account balance will prevent your cancellation request from being processed and monthly membership billing will continue until the past due balance is paid in full.
• If you are unsure about your current membership account balance please email us at memberships@climbsoill.com to verify your account balance prior to submitting a cancellation request.
• Membership cancellation requests must be submitted a minimum of 7-days in advance of the date you would like the cancellation to take effect. Cancellation requests submitted less than 7-days in advance of the requested cancellation date will be processed the following month.
• If you are seeking a temporary pause in your membership, consider using our membership freeze option. With this option you can temporarily suspend membership billing and avoid membership setup fees when you reactivate your membership.
Is tax included in the membership price?
Climb So iLL memberships are subject to state-mandated sales tax. This sales tax is charged in addition to our advertised membership prices. We believe that health and fitness activities should not be subject to sales tax. We encourage you to write to your state and local representative and ask them to support efforts to repeal this sales tax.
Are memberships transferrable?
Climb So iLL memberships are not transferable. However, you can bring in one guest per month as a member. This guest must not have visited the gym within the previous 90 days.
Power Plant
Our flagship climbing gym, the Power Plant, is located in Downtown St. Louis, one block East of Lafayette Square. The gym is part of the historic City Hospital complex. Look for the smokestack.
Steel Shop + Gravity Lab
Our newest climbing gym, the Steel Shop, is located in Frenchtown St. Charles. Gravity Lab is housed inside the Steel Shop and offers a unique experience for younger and newer climbers.
